Summary
Join us as a Band 7 Psychological Professional working within our OCD pathway within community mental health services in Coventry and Warwickshire. We welcome and encourage applications from CBT therapists, registered psychological therapists, registered counsellors, clinical and counselling psychologists.
15 hours per week
About You
We are seeking a Therapist who is:
• BABCP accredited (or working towards accreditation)
• Confident in CBT delivery with a strong interest in OCD and group interventions
• Skilled in risk assessment, safeguarding, and working with complex presentations
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider MDT
• Motivated to develop and refine expertise in a specialist, group-based pathway
This role is well suited to therapists seeking a position in which they can specialise in OCD and enhance their group facilitation skills within a supportive and well-established service.

Group Facilitation (Mondays):
• Maintenance sessions with previous group participants
• Main OCD treatment group session
• Co-facilitating groups alongside Dr Sequeira with opportunities for reflective learning and clinical development
• Client Assessments
Pre-Group Responsibilities (Other Weekday):
• Clinical screening and pre-group assessments
• Short-term preparatory work with selected clients (2–3 sessions where needed)
• Risk and safeguarding assessments as required
• Suitability and motivation assessments
• Liaison with referrers and the MDT
Post-Group Responsibilities (Other Weekday):
• Clinical note writing and updating records
• Outcome monitoring and assisting with psychometric analysis
• Contribution to post-group reviews with each client
• Follow-up work with participants
Administrative and Supportive Tasks (Other Weekday):
• Preparing and adapting group materials as needed
• Ensuring smooth online delivery (e.g., Zoom links)
• Ongoing communication with the MDT regarding participant progress
Working Pattern
• Monday (fixed): Full day, including facilitation, preparation, and follow-up
• Second day (flexible): For assessments, reviews, documentation, MDT liaison, and planning

The core function of this role is the delivery of the OCD pathway. This will involve assessment, delivery of group and 1:1 aspects of the pathway, following up where there may be risk issues and making onward links and referrals for the patients where necessary. There may be some supervisory responsibilities for trainee and junior staff.
