Summary
We are looking for a professional and dependable Plant Hire Delivery Driver to support deliveries and collections of equipment to film sets, studios, and on-location shoots. Working in the Film & TV industry, this role requires a high level of discretion, flexibility, and an understanding of the fast-paced and sensitive nature of production environments.
You will be delivering a range of equipment – such as generators, lighting towers and toilet trailers – ensuring safe, efficient, and timely service while maintaining a professional presence on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and collect hire equipment to/from various locations across the Midlands.
Load and unload machinery safely and securely, in line with transport and health & safety regulations.
Carry out visual inspections and basic checks of equipment before and after delivery.
Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
Communicate professionally with production teams, location managers, and site crew.
Follow instructions from the transport team and respond flexibly to last-minute schedule changes.
Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle and report any issues or defects promptly.
Respect all production site rules, including health & safety, access protocols, and non-disclosure practices.
Handle sensitive information and on-set exposure with strict confidentiality.
Assist in the yard or workshop when required.
Requirements:
Full UK driving license
Mechanical/Handyman Skills
Previous experience in towing/winching essential
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
Excellent customer service skills.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
