Summary
Senior Civil Engineer Braintree | Full-Time | Hybrid Working Available
We're looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead and deliver a range of civil engineering projects. This is a client-facing role with responsibility for technical design, project management, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering projects from survey to delivery
- Build strong client relationships and manage key accounts
- Approve technical calculations and oversee design work (AutoCAD/C3D/InfoDrainage)
- Prepare and submit documentation for planning, tender, and construction
- Manage internal and external design teams
- Conduct site inspections and report on progress, safety, and quality
- Chair project meetings and contribute to fee management and invoicing.
- Deputise for the Associate when required
- Maintain accurate records and complete CPD training
About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Working toward or already Chartered (Eng/CEng MICE)
- Strong technical and project management skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage
- Confident communicator with leadership experience
- Able to manage multiple projects and coordinate teams
