About the role

We are seeking to fill an upcoming vacancy for the role of Data and Information Assistant.

Reporting to the Data and Performance Advisor, you will support the delivery of key functions that contribute to providing an excellent service, while ensuring resources are used effectively. You will also assist department managers in delivering high-quality services to our community and key stakeholders.

As a Data and Information Assistants you will;

• Support the production of clear and comprehensive tables, charts, maps, and documents as needed.
• Deliver training to relevant Service personnel on data input into systems such as the Incident Recording System (IRS), Community Fire Risk Management Information System (CFRMIS), and other platforms as required.
• Assist with sharing relevant information and responding to requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to research projects by supporting the collection, analysis, and presentation of data and information.

We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrable experience of:

• Working with data and information, including the use of databases and recording systems.
• Delivering training on databases and recording systems.
• Understanding and applying quality assurance processes in data management.
• Providing training, advice, and guidance to staff across various levels of the organisation.
• Showing strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
