Hunter Professional Scotland continues to expand, and we’re seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver’s to join one of our long-standing clients within the Transportation trunking sector.This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable, well-paid position with a company that values safety, professionalism, and long-term development.

Location: Central Belt, Scotland

Contract: Long-Term / Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate (following successful assessment)
Pay: Weekly pay with guaranteed shift hours

Payrate :£16.00 upto £25.00 ph

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our professional transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver with strong road awareness and a passion for excellence to secure a long-term, stable role with a well-established company operating across Scotland’s Central Belt.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all transport laws and company procedures.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.Load, secure, and unload cargo in accordance with safety standards.Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and digital records.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site contacts, and customers regarding schedules and delivery updates.Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.Provide professional customer service, representing the company with integrity and pride.

Requirements:

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.Minimum 12 months’ commercial HGV driving experience.Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card.Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN convictions).Strong understanding of transport legislation and road safety compliance.Experience with flatbed vehicles advantageous (training can be provided).Physically fit, punctual, and committed to teamwork.
