With scope to build teams, shape Sunday and midweek groups, and develop outreach opportunities, you'll play a key role in implementing our church vision among a rising generation.

The post holder will be responsible for pastorally leading and organising our Youth events and activities, alongside the Mission Director, and to help lead our Youth Team. You must have a passion for youth ministry, strong leadership skills, and a heart for guiding young people in their faith journey. Key Responsibilities:

• To attend, support and lead youth services on Sundays, Tuesdays, etc.
• To mobilise and support our Youth volunteer team.
• To take oversight of some volunteers who give time during the week.

Discipleship:
• Build meaningful relationships with young people and the youth team, facilitating their mentorship and discipleship.
• Encourage and equip young people to develop and take on leadership roles within the ministry and the church.
• Lead by example in personal spiritual growth and encourage both the young people and youth team to cultivate their relationship with God through prayer, worship and service.

Management and administration:
• To support the administration and organisation of youth small groups.
• Manage the youth ministry budget and resources effectively.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Mission Director.
• To coordinate Youth trips and outings
• As a member of the Leadership Team, you will undertake occasional and various responsibilities as the need arises (e.g. speaking engagements, event organisation, ad hoc projects) in accordance with the serving expectations that come with this role.
• Attend and contribute to meetings and events relevant to a member of the Leadership Team and wider Staff Team. (e.g. staff meetings, Leadership Team and Pastoral Group meetings, Leaders’ meetings and regular annual events)

Community Engagement:
• Engage with the young people, their parents and your line manager to understand needs within the Youth and the wider church.
• Engage with other youth pastors across our branches and city to build healthy relationships with other churches.
• Stay relatively current with youth trends, and the challenges of youth culture.
• Understand and model biblical values of leadership

Experience:
