Summary

About the Role

This role is permanent and is based at our Kendal Distribution Centre.

£12.70 per hour (18 and over)

19.5 hours per week, with shifts scheduled as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM

A Sunday rota is also in place, currently requiring one shift every four weeks:

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM

As a Cleaning Team Leader you will support the Facilities Manager to ensure that all Facilities and areas of responsibility are cleaned and maintained to the high standards expected by our colleagues and customers, whilst also making sure the department has a positive effect on customer relations and the team.

Role modelling the Lakeland values and behaviours at all times, you will supervise all activities relating to the Cleaning Team, managing people in your task area so that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.

About You

You will engage in all activities relating to the efficient cleaning and routine maintenance of our Windermere site, modelling the Lakeland values and behaviours at all times, supporting the Facilities Coordinator/Manager.

To ensure the provision of an efficient and effective cleaning service for the whole building, ensuring that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is delivered and maintained to meet Lakeland’s employee’s and customer’s expectations.

To carry out general cleaning duties as required, supervising and supporting Cleaning colleagues and working alongside the Facilities Coordinator/Manager.

To be willing to take responsibility in the absence of Facilities Coordinator/Manager.

To ensure that the company and legal Health & Safety standards are adhered to.

To use company systems and technology to communicate effectively with colleagues, other departments and the Facilities Coordinator and Manager.
