An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent, long established practice in the heart of Somerset. This friendly and community focused practice is 99% small animal, with the occasional equine case available if desired though entirely optional. The team offers a varied and engaging first opinion caseload, ensuring no two days are ever the same. With a philosophy centred on developing vets’ skills in-house rather than referring everything out, you’ll have the chance to work up your own cases and grow clinically in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The practice is home to a settled and loyal team, many of whom have been with the practice for years including RVNs with 15–20 years of service. This stability creates a warm, family like atmosphere where everyone looks out for one another and teamwork truly thrives. The leadership team is looking for an experienced small animal vet who values genuine relationships with clients, a positive team culture, and high quality patient care.
