This role is working for an individual employer using NHS funds and not working for the NHS.
I am seeking to recruit 2 Personal Healthcare Assistants to assist a young man in his 30s who has complex learning, physical and nursing needs.
Support is needed with tasks such as moving and handling and personal care, as well as healthcare tasks such as tracheotomy care, suction and PEG, for which training will be given.
Some experience in care and / or supporting young adults with complex needs preferable but not essential.
Hours: Up to 36 hours to include 12 hour days and nights on a rota basis
Hourly rate: Starting at £14.50 after initial training
Benefits: 5.6 weeks paid annual leave, access to Workplace Pension with Employer Contribution at Statutory Rate, all training provided, and DBS Check and Update Service paid for by employer.
This employment is subject to Safer Recruitment practice. Two references and an Enhanced DBS Check must be received prior to the employment start date and only suitable applicants will be employed. All employees must undertake online Safeguarding Training.
