Catalent is seeking a dynamic Commercial Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving commercial success across our customer portfolio. This position supports the Commercial Operations team by managing existing customer products and representing Site Operations during new customer onboarding. You’ll collaborate closely with Business Development, Project Management, and Site Operations to deliver tailored solutions that maximize value for our customers and our business.

The Role:

Evaluate customer products using a portfolio management approach to forecast long-term demand and lifecycle potential
Serve as the primary customer-facing liaison alongside Business Development, Supply Chain, and Project Management
Establish project governance and ensure seamless communication between customers and internal teams
Lead contract extension and renewal processes for commercial supply agreements
Monitor compliance with contractual terms including forecasting, purchase orders, payments, and milestones
Support proposal development and pricing strategies for new and follow-on business
Collaborate with clients on risk mitigation strategies including second-source materials and backup sites
Provide strategic input on proposal negotiations and pricing models
Feed customer demand forecasts into Site S&OP processes
Identify growth opportunities within customer portfolios and strengthen relationships
Monitor supply chain and manufacturing changes that may impact pricing or service delivery
Host and coordinate client meetings on-site as needed
The Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline or equivalent technical knowledge
Prior experience in contract negotiation
Experience working within pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing, with experience in quality, technical project management, business development, or commercial operations
Strong understanding of drug or consumer product development, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory processes
Proven analytical and financial acumen
Excellent customer service and communication skills
