Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious management team for Parklands Nursery School.

As the Family Support Worker, you will be key in ensuring our children and their families are able to access the support and services they may need to ensure their personal development, wellbeing and safety.

As the Special Needs Co-ordinator Lead, you will be key in supporting the already established nursery team, with the co-ordination and delivery of high quality education and care for children with special education needs.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, professional, adaptable and dedicated to delivering high quality teaching and be able to adapt practices to meet children’s individual needs. They must also have the skills to manage a case load, and co-ordinate the support and referral process for children with SEND. They must have the skills to inspire and motivate a team of practitioners and support them with strengthening their inclusive practice and knowledge further.

They will have the experience in working holistically with young people, families and children to make positive changes. They will be dedicated to delivering high quality support to some of our most vulnerable children and their families. This role encompasses group and one to one work with families and a proactive and non-judgmental approach is essential

As Designated Safeguarding Lead you will support the team with implementing all safeguarding policies and practices.

We are looking for applicants with strong communication skills who will be able to build and maintain respectful and effective relationships with staff, children and their families. You will be motivated and resilient with excellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skills. Initiative and assertiveness will also be key to your success.
