As a Trainee Neighbourhood Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Neighbourhood Team Leader in delivering effective neighbourhood services. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in community management and service delivery. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.

What do our Trainee Neighbourhood Officer’s do;

Engagement with customers: Interacting with community members to understand their needs, concerns, and suggestions.
Support for neighbourhood initiatives: Assisting in the planning and execution of local projects aimed at improving community services and facilities.
Record keeping: Maintaining accurate documentation related to neighbourhood activities, including feedback from residents and progress reports on initiatives.
Collaboration with team members: Working closely with the Neighbourhood Team Leader and other officers to ensure effective service delivery.
Training Participation: Engaging in training sessions to develop skills relevant to community management and service provision.


What we are looking for;

Good standard of education with minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C or above including Maths and English.
Willingness to work towards a professional qualification in Housing Management
A passion for community work and a desire to make a positive impact.
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Basic IT skills and familiarity with office software.
Demonstrate an understanding and empathy with the needs across diverse groups and individuals.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and an excellent customer focus to contribute to great customer service.
