Summary
ProMatch is proud to be exclusively recruiting on behalf of a leading processing business in Dingwall for the position of HR Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and people-focused HR professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in supporting recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations across the site.
About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager and Processing Director, the HR Officer will support the effective delivery of all HR functions within the processing site, with occasional support across sales and farming operations. The role has a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding, alongside generalist HR responsibilities including employee relations, compliance and training coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory staff, including job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding and agency relationships
Partner with line managers to identify staffing needs and develop accurate job descriptions
Coordinate induction programmes to support smooth integration of new hires
Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Assist with grievance, disciplinary and performance management processes
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, health & safety regulations and internal policies
Support training and development initiatives to enhance workforce capability
Manage HR systems and reporting to support data-driven decision-making
Assist payroll preparation by providing relevant employee data (e.g. attendance, leave, overtime)
Promote positive employee engagement, communication and workplace culture
What We’re Looking For
Solid HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or processing environment along with either a relevant degree or CIDP qualification
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent recruitment and onboarding skills
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Professional, discreet and able to handle sensitive information
Proficient in MS Office
Polish speaking (advantageous but not essential)
This is a dynamic and hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a real impact across the business. It offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, on a day-shift pattern - with flexibility around start and finish times to suit your rhythm. To support cross-team collaboration, some evening work will be required to connect with night shift colleagues.
The overall package is competitive and negotiable based on experience, with plenty of scope to grow and shape the role as part of a forward-thinking team.
