Summary
Sunderland City Council are looking appoint to the permanent position of Drainer/ LGV Driver in the Highways Operations Team.
The position will be filled by a person who is skilled and qualified to a minimum competency standard imposed by Highways Operations. They will undertake the Flushing/ cleansing of all types of drainage apparatus in the Sunderland City Council area and to aid in flood prevention and flood warning events for the Highways Operations Service
Must be prepared to work with untreated sewage
Must be prepared to work in confined spaces
Must be prepared to work in all weathers
