About the Company:
We are a UK-based fintech and financial education company developing proprietary financial optimisation software to help individuals and businesses make smarter financial decisions. Our platform combines education, automation, and personalised financial tools to empower long-term success.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an IT Support Specialist to ensure the smooth and secure operation of our systems, tools, and remote infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and highly organised — maintaining the digital backbone that enables our team to perform efficiently.
Role Overview:
The IT Support Specialist will provide hands-on technical support across all departments, ensuring that company systems, software, and devices are functioning effectively. You will maintain oversight of Google Workspace, user access control, and device security while supporting the deployment of new tools and systems.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Manage and maintain Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Admin Console) and related systems.
Administer user accounts, access permissions, and device management in line with company policy.
Oversee IT security practices, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, configurations, and asset inventories.
Support system updates, software rollouts, and integration of new tools.
Assist with troubleshooting SaaS platform environments and internal tools.
Coordinate with external vendors or service providers when required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of IT procedures and documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an IT support, systems administration, or technical operations role.
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace / Google Suite administration.
Proficient with Windows and macOS environments.
Understanding of network fundamentals, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Able to work independently with accountability and attention to detail.
UK-based or able to work UK business hours.
Home office setup with reliable internet connectivity and a professional environment suitable for remote technical work.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary based on experience and performance.
Autonomy and trust to manage IT operations with responsibility and precision.
Opportunity to contribute directly to a fast-growing fintech organisation with a strong mission and disciplined culture.
