Position: Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant (LSA)
Location: Soham
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent position
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Qualification: SEN experience (able to provide personal care)

This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily activities, hobbies, and community integration.
- Provide respectful and dignified personal care, including assistance with toileting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
- Foster a safe, positive, and empowering environment for all clients.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential client records.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities is desirable.
- Knowledge of care planning systems and keyworking principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to use your own initiative.
- Good IT skills for documentation and record-keeping.
- A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.
Personal Attributes:
- Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students.
- Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style.
- Have experience with SEND or knowledge learning difficulties.
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
- A professional and collaborative team member.

All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education's child protection and UK eligibility vetting including a DBS check and providing satisfactory references. A DBS on the update service would be a distinct advantage due to the urgent nature of some of these roles.
