Summary
Chalk Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary English Teacher for a full-time position at a school in Reading for ASAP start. If you're passionate about teaching, fostering student growth, and making an impact in the classroom, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to secondary school students (KS3 & KS4)
- Develop engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to help them reach their potential
- Collaborate with the department and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching English at the secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
- Available for a full-time role from April through October
