Summary

Electrical Wire Person

Taunton | Up to £37,000 per annum | Mon-Thu 8am - 4.30pm, Fri 8am - 1.30pm | Permanent, Full-Time Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Electrical Wire Person to join a well-established engineering company in Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in electrical wiring and a passion for building and wiring control panels and machines.

Key Duties:

  • Wire electrical components including motors, drives, relays, transformers, and HMIs.

  • Wire machines, including trunking, cable trays, junction boxes, and sensors.

  • Troubleshoot and fault-find on electrical systems.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings.

Requirements:

  • Fully time-served electrician with control panel or on-machine wiring experience preferred.

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification beneficial.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Own hand tools required.

  • Competitive salary up to £37,000 per annum.

  • Early finish on Fridays.

  • Overtime rates: weekdays x1.3, weekends x1.5.
