An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and skilled Site Manager to work at St Matthew’s Primary School, which is a successful and welcoming school.
The successful applicant will work across both school sites, which are in close proximity of each other, and be responsible for the management, safety, maintenance and improvement of a high-quality learning environment incorporating all school grounds, buildings, equipment and facilities, working within trust procedures and protocols and under the guidance of the Business Manager.
This is a key and rewarding role to support the day-to-day running of the school environment. The postholder will be responsible for the opening and closing of the school sites and specific working times/hours will be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant and will be agreed in advance.
Applicants will have care-taking experience in a school or similar environment, have the proven ability to work with external contractors and understand health and safety requirements. Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills are also required.

This position will be based at St Matthew Primary School, Oldham but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.
