Summary

GI GROUP is looking for Temp-Perm Warehouse operatives in Atherstone, CV9 2SQ, fixed contracts until March'2027 - relocating to Coalville LE67 after March:

2pm Shifts
Selectors/ Order picker- Order Picking using LLOP and Voice Pick (training provided) - These are either Chill or Intake (Intake is checking in the goods and scanning/quality checking with some picking for a few hours)
Logistics Assistants - Loading. Loading and Unloading pallets using LL OP

Working until finish shifts last from 8-10 hrs working on 5on -3 off rota.

7pm Shifts
Selectors /Order picker- Order Picking using LLOP and Voice Pick (training provided) - These are either Chill or Produce (Produce is heavier items)


Working until finish shifts last from 8-10 hrs working on 5on -3 off rota.


Pay Rates - Selectors
Start Rate £13.10 for hrs worked before 10pm / £16.38 for hours worked after 10pm
After 12 weeks £14.56 before 10pm / £18.20 after 10pm

Pay Rates - Logistics Assistants
Start Rate £12.21 for hrs worked before 10pm / £14.39 for hours worked after 10pm
After 12 weeks £12.79 before 10pm / £15.99 after 10pm

Skills we look for:

-Physical Fitness: A good level of physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy items, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform tasks like standing for long periods.
-Previous experience in Warehouse environment.
-Attention to Detail: Critical for accurate order picking, inventory management, and avoiding errors.
-Technical Proficiency: Comfort and skill with technology, including using hand-held devices, computers, and warehouse management systems to input data or track inventory.
-Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with -colleagues and managers regarding orders, tasks, and updates.
-Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and contribute to a productive work atmosphere.
-Listening Skills: The ability to listen carefully and follow instructions accurately.
-Flexibility & Adaptability: The willingness to change and take on a variety of tasks as needed.

2 - step process
Site Tours - Usually Tuesday and Wednesday @2pm for 45 minutes
Group Interviews - Usually Wednesday and Thursday evenings @7pm for 1 hour
