Summary

Assist skilled joiners in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber components according to detailed drawings and specifications.

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.

Support the preparation and setting up of materials and equipment required for joinery work.

Carry out routine maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and timber frames both on-site and in the workshop.

Follow health and safety regulations and company policies at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

Help in assembling and erecting timber frames on-site under the supervision of senior joiners or site managers.

Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring waste and scrap materials are disposed of properly.

Report any issues or defects in materials to supervisors promptly.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
