Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Public Health department at Derbyshire County Council, as part of the Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Team.
A substantive post is available.
The right candidate should be passionate about mental health and wellbeing, insightful about how to reduce inequalities, be able to address topics sensitively, be competent to understand the range of influencing factors to mental health, be experienced in partnership working to achieve shared goals and demonstrate skills to engage the public and partners as a direct avenue for improving the mental health and wellbeing of the local population.
The Practitioner will work closely with the Public Health Lead (Mental Health and Suicide Prevention), the Public Health Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Team and key local partners. Work is across a range of portfolios, including engagement and development, communications and campaigns, inclusiveness and neurodiversity, suicide prevention and influencing others so that mental wellbeing is a prominent factor considered in all work.
