Brent Mainstream Schools & Deafness & Hearing Impairment ARP
Are you looking to develop and further your skills in Mainstream Schools and also deafness and hearing impairment? Are you interested in working a diverse and multi-cultural area? Do you want to join a friendly and outgoing team?
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join the Mainstream Schools Team. Therapists work closely with school staff to support children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs in schools as well as contributing to training initiatives and project work.

We provide SLT to children and young people at SEN support and with EHCPs in Brent primary schools, secondary and FE Colleges
Your role would include:
• One day a week in a mainstream school with DHI ARP developing skills in working with school age CYP with DHI working collaboratively with families, Teachers of the Deaf, and the wider multi-disciplinary team to support the development and communication of deaf children
• Build on your specialist skills and experience in supporting deaf children and their families.
• The assessment of CYP with a range of speech, language and communication needs including- DLD, ASD, speech sound difficulties, selective mutism.
• Working directly with children in groups and individually, as well as offering advice and strategies to school staff and parents.
