Summary


An opportunity has arisen for a psychologist with a special interest in hypnotherapy to join our multi-disciplinary team in GI Physiology, working 1 day per week. You will work closely with other psychologists, consultant gastroenterologists and clinical nurse specialists to provide bespoke treatment for patients with functional gut disorders.

You will provide expert support and advice, delivering hypnotherapy sessions and work collaboratively with the MDT to ensure we are providing the best care for our patient cohort.

The GI Physiology Unit is situated on the lower ground floor of the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing, at UCLH and forms part of the Gastroenterology Service. The Unit undertakes tests and treatments for patients with upper and lower gut symptoms. We are a multidisciplinary team, consisting of consultant gastroenterologists, psychologists, specialist nurses, research fellows, health care assistants and physiologists.

We currently operate Monday – Friday.
