Summary

Overview

Join our dynamic team at Manchester Airport, where your expertise will help shape the safe and efficient delivery of small works projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about engineering excellence, safety leadership, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Objectives

Managing the delivery of quoted small works across the site, ensuring compliance with contractual SLAs, airport engineering standards, and QHSE procedures.

Your Responsibilities

Technical Project Delivery

-Support the Quoted Works Contract Manager in delivering small works

-Ensure specifications and scope of works are agreed with the customer

-Coordinate contractor site surveys to define required works

-Plan and coordinate works with subcontractors and internal FM engineering teams

-Ensure all works are delivered safely on time, and to technical specifications

Safety & Compliance Leadership

-Review and approve RAMS and SSOW documentation

-Manage permits to work in line with MAG and Mitie QHSE protocols

-Conduct audits and inspections to uphold safety and compliance

Stakeholder Engagement

-Build strong relationships with subcontractors, FM leads, project managers, and internal teams

-Provide QHSE support to the self-delivery engineering team

Documentation & Reporting

-Ensure accurate project documentation and timely reporting

-Support monthly performance reviews and contract compliance checks

General Duties

-Uphold company policies and procedures

-Take on additional tasks aligned with your technical expertise

-Promote a proactive safety culture across the site

What We're Looking For

-Proven experience in engineering project delivery within a technical FM environment

-Hands-on experience in civil or fabric works (preferred)

-Project management experience (preferred)

-Knowledge of CDM regulations (preferred)

-Strong understanding of building services and FM operations

-Excellent coordination and communication skills
