Summary
People Operations Advisor - Campsfield Immigration Removal Centre
Salary: Up to £33,000 + free Mitie shares.40 hours per week, but would consider part-time working.

Campsfield Centre is due to open its doors in the coming months and will be providing custody services, welfare, regime and recreational activity. We're looking for a People Operations Advisor to join the team, working alongside managers to deliver an outstanding employee life-cycle.
This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Job OverviewWork with the on-site management team to ensure they effectively deliver all aspects of the employee life-cycle, in accordance with employment legislation and Mitie policies and procedures.
Main Duties
-Oversee resourcing activity, working with multiple stakeholders, including Resourcing Partners, Line Managers, Vetting Teams and HR Administration.
-Provide HR management information to enable the senior leadership team to maintain required headcount, performance, budget, diversity and staff engagement.
-Coach line managers in the application of policies and processes, to ensure fairness and accountability.
-Support the senior leadership team to deliver the people strategies, including recruitment, retention and staff development.
-Collate, create and publish regular, ad-hoc and management information reports, data and information from various systems and departments, to ensure management receives appropriate information in an accurate and timely fashion.
-Check information, data, systems, reports and databases to ensure accuracy, quality, integrity and completeness of information.
-Trouble shoot problems and issues referred from others, using own knowledge and judgement to identify and follow appropriate courses or action to resolve.
-Oversee employee relations case tracker, to ensure cases are managed efficiently and in accordance with Mitie policy.
-Monitor compliance with payroll and recruitment processes.
-Work closely with business partners within Mitie (e.g. Training, Recruitment, IT, Finance etc), to ensure effective delivery of support services within the Centre.
-Attend meetings as appropriate within the Centre, deputising for the People Business Partner as required.
What we are looking for
-CIPD level 3, or working towards.
-Experience of managing recruitment processes.
-Understanding of national security vetting requirements.

-You must be a British Citizen, EU citizen with settled status, or have an ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) from a Commonwealth country.
-Bankruptcy history, CCJs, social media activity and criminal convictions will be closely scrutinized.
-You must have lived in the UK for the past three years with no significant footprint outside of the UK other than for normal holidays.
