Summary
Job Description:
Progressive bio-engineering company has a position available for an EXPERIENCED QUALITY INSPECTOR required for the inspection of small to medium-sized precision machined parts. Must have experience in CMM programming and operating
Successful candidates will:
1. Be familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Systems and work to the Company’s Quality System and operating procedures
2. Be competent in programming and operating a Mitutoyo CMM or equivalent
3. Be able to visually inspect highly-polished parts
4. Have a good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
5. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Be familiar in managing calibration systems
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy in their work and recognise the need for product quality and work to consistently high standards at all times.
Good organisational skills, be methodical and have a very good eye for detail
Remuneration: £35,000 pa
Holidays: 30 days (incl stats)
Hours of work: 39 hours per week
This is a full-time, permanent position. Refs essential.
