Summary
Simmal Ltd is a family run aluminium and engineering materials stock holding and manufacturing business in Preston, Lancashire. We provide products to manufacturing companies throughout the UK and Europe.
Due to business growth and development, there is a position as a Warehouse Operative available.
Responsibilities include:-
▪ unloading supplier delivery vehicles,
▪ putting stock deliveries away in designated warehouse locations,
▪ picking and packing customer orders,
▪ loading company and customer vehicles with orders, and
▪ maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment.
The candidate must:-
▪ be polite,
▪ be reliable,
▪ be dedicated to customer satisfaction,
▪ be capable of good time management, and
▪ hold a full and clean driving licence.
Previous experience of working in a warehouse is not necessary as full training will be provided, but experience would be an advantage.
Education to GSCE grades 9-3 or equivalent in english and Mathematics is required.
Holding a valid counter-balance and reach fork lift truck licence would be an advantage.
