About the Role
Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join its specialist Adults team for a 3-month contract. This role focuses on supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and sensory impairments through person-centred reviews, casework, and safeguarding processes.
You’ll be working across the Bath and North East Somerset area, with a base at Keynsham Civic Centre. While some remote working is possible, on-site visits are essential, so access to a car is required.

Social Work England registration
Enhanced DBS & barred list check (Adults)
Minimum 5 years of references
Strong interpersonal and assessment skills
Basic IT literacy and sound risk management knowledge
Experience in adult social care, ideally with learning disability and autism services
