The Role:
Work across classes to support teaching and learning. You’ll set up activities, provide in-class help, run short intervention groups in reading, literacy and numeracy, and keep concise notes to inform next steps. You’ll reinforce routines, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils build confidence and independence.
The Candidate:
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, follows guidance well, and brings a calm, organised approach. You enjoy working with children and want to develop practical classroom skills ahead of initial teacher training.
Requirements
- Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children – Strong commitment to inclusion and pupil progress
