Operating since the 1990s, our client is a well-established HVAC specialist based in Oxfordshire, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality installation, service, maintenance, and breakdown support for air conditioning, ventilation, and ductwork systems.
With a fleet of 9 vans split across Installation and Maintenance divisions, they support a loyal portfolio of commercial and industrial clients, including offices, laboratories, and production facilities across Oxford, Newbury, Reading, Swindon, and Bristol regions.
The Role - HVAC Installation Engineer
Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00/4:30pm
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing and maintaining split systems, multi-splits, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation, and ductwork
- Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and H&S regulations
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the business professionally on site
Ideal Candidate Location
- Preferably based within the Oxford, Swindon, and Reading triangle.
Requirements
Essential:
- F-Gas Certification
- CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain – support provided)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Highly Desirable:
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (would be a huge advantage)
- Multi-skilled background (Electrical, Plumbing, or Gas)
Package & Benefits
- F-Gas Engineer: £42,000 – £44,000
- Multi-Skilled Engineer: £45,000 – £49,000
- Van & Fuel Card (private use allowed)
- Overtime Paid at x1.6
- Call-Out Rota: 1 in 6 (Monday–Monday) / If called, paid x2.5 rate with a 4-hour minimum if called out
- Door-to-door pay in the morning / Evening travel paid up to radius from Company HQ
- Ongoing professional development / Support for additional qualifications (e.g., Commercial Gas) after proving ability
- 20 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays
- Excellent pension contribution: company contributes 7%
