Summary
BHFT is looking for an experiencedadministrator/receptionistto work in ourSpecialistservicesteambased atour clinic at25 Erleigh Road, Reading.Mustbeflexible, love working in a busyclinic and able to juggle competing priorities.
The role isadministrationwithin Specialist Services, working in the Adult ADHDservice acrossthe ADHD Diagnostic and Medicationpathways.Therole is part time – 4 days a week.Non negotiableworking days are Thu and Frireception .
Admin tasks
Reception Thu and Fri
• Welcome all visitors to the site and announce them to the relevant services
• Take all external and internal calls
• Maintain good relationships with clients,staffand other agencies
• Organise andmaintainroom bookings, maximising the utilisation of space
• Organise all outgoing mail, ensuring that it is franked and bagged ready for posting and to sort and distribute incoming mail
• Report any faults with equipment,systemsand/or maintenance issues to theappropriate service/agency
• Assistin the efficient andaccuraterecording of data in all electronic systems
• Create access packs fornew staffmembers
• To cover reception as and whenrequiredeglunch cover, sickness or leave cover
Administration tasks
• processingreferrals
• optingclients into the service
• sending outcorrespondenceto clientsand GPs
• contactingclientsto book appointments
• recordingall interactionsusing BHFTpatient recordsystems
• any other administrative tasksas directed by the business support manager
• To support projects and ad-hoc work requirements by undertaking a variety of administration and clerical tasks
