Summary
Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a 1.0 Lecturer Coordinator in English who will be responsible for teaching GCSE and/or functional skills English as a member of an experienced and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher with the potential to be involved in improving student outcomes. There is also the potential for you to train to become a qualified teacher whilst earning a salary if you have a degree in English.

The successful candidate will be required to possess Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within 2 years) and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (or currently working towards). The ability to teach functional skills Mathematics would also be an advantage.
Applicants will also have recent experience of teaching on a range of courses in FE or a training establishment or be able to demonstrate their potential as part of the interview process.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
