Summary
Come and join the growing West Town Lane staff.
We are looking to appoint two caring and committed Teaching Assistants (TA) to support our early year team, facilitating interventions and facilitating the teacher to support 1:1/small groups, with possible scope to work in other Key Stages at a later date. One role will be permanent and one fixed term.We are a large, friendly, highly supportive school with excellent staff retention and opportunities for professional development. We pride ourselves on providing a happy, nurturing environment for children and adults. Our children are polite and friendly and behaviour in the school is extremely positive. Our school grounds offer children space to run and play and encourage adventure!
The successful candidate will:-Ideally have a relevant Early Years Level 3 qualification as specified by DFE-work alongside the class teacher to provide engaging and exciting learning opportunities- ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- enjoy working as part of a team: including the wider school community
- be committed and passionate about inclusion
- welcome the opportunity to learn new skills
- promote independence and support social and emotional development
- demonstrate our school valuesHours are 8.30 to 3.30 Monday to Friday term time only, including inset days. 30 hours per week. There is potential for additiional hours supporting our lunch time rotas.Visits to the school are welcomed and positively encouraged so that you can meet our wonderful children and staff. These can be arranged by appointment so please get in touch.
