An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Rent Manager to lead the delivery of the Group’s annual rent budget and rent
review process, ensuring full compliance with legislation.



In this role, you’ll provide expert rent finance support, build strong relationships across the business, and deliver accurate,
timely financial information. You’ll manage the Finance Rent team to ensure integrity and efficiency in all rent accounting
activities, support the Financial Accounting Lead in maintaining an effective accountancy function, and keep the Group’s Rent
Policy and procedures up to date.



This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by enhancing rent accounting services and driving continuous improvement
across the finance function.



What You’ll be Doing:




* Deliver the annual rent budget and the annual rent review uplift process ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
* Manage the Finance Rent team ensuring accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information within the rent accounting
function
* Maintain and update the Group on the Rent Policy and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant regulation and good practice
are observed
* Support the Financial Accounting Lead in the development and maintenance of an efficient and effective accountancy function for
the Group



What We’re Looking For:



* Professional accountancy qualification, e.g. CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA
* Experience in managing a rent team within a social housing environment
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to rents
* Have a track record in delivering operational service for rents
* High levels of IT literacy and an understanding of new ways of working




Interview Process:



* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of competency-based questions. Interviews will take place w/c 27th
October.
