Summary
Production Team Leader
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week - Days & Noons
The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Leader to join their growing team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring production schedules are achieved efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver daily and weekly production plans to meet customer requirements and deadlines
Lead, motivate, and support production teams to achieve performance goals and maintain high morale
Ensure all production activities comply with Health & Safety, legal and company standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment at all times
Track and report on production performance using KPIs
Provide regular training, guidance, and communication to team members to maximise performance
Conduct toolbox talks and shift briefings to promote clear communication and teamwork
Manage materials, equipment and resources to ensure smooth and efficient production flow
Support quality assurance to achieve "Right First Time" standards across all products
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
Ability to achieve planned production and yield targets
Consistent delivery of quality standards and first-time accuracy
Strong team leadership with a focus on engagement, low turnover, and reduced absenteeism
Commitment to Health & Safety compliance, minimising accidents and near misses
Experience maintaining up-to-date risk assessments and appraisals
