Summary
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Pastoral Support Assistant to join a supportive academy team on a long-term temporary ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as a Pastoral Support Assistant:
Support the pastoral team in managing and improving student behaviour across the academy.
Provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support to students to help them engage positively with school life.
Assist in the implementation of behaviour and attendance policies.
Maintain accurate and efficient administration systems, both manual and electronic, including student records and reports.
Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies to support student progress and wellbeing.
Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the academy through active participation in the pastoral care system.
Ideal Pastoral Support Assistant:
Have proven experience in managing student behaviour within a school or similar setting.
Be flexible, calm, and resilient when managing challenging situations.
Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills as a Pastoral Support Assistant.
Be confident in using administrative systems and maintaining accurate records.
Be committed to upholding and supporting the ethos and values of the academy.
