Summary
Waste Operative Wanted – Oldham
Tudor Employment Agency is on the lookout for a dedicated Waste Operative to join our client’s team based in Oldham. This role involves safely managing waste operations under onsite procedures, in line with GSK’s guidelines ♻️.
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11am – 9pm
Key Responsibilities:
️ Routine collection and disposal of site waste
Safe operation of forklift, pallet rider, van & mobile plant
Maintain tidy workspaces and safe waste storage
Assist with segregation, packaging & labelling of waste
Support removal of waste to reduce stock build-up
Monitor safety and ensure team compliance
✅ Complete daily vehicle & equipment checks
Liaise with supervisors on operations & safety
⚠️ Contribute to behavioural safety & near-miss reporting
Help with general housekeeping tasks
Sign duty of care & hazardous waste consignment notes
Support teammates when needed
Provide operational support across GSK sites in Hertfordshire & Essex
️ Key Skills & Qualifications:
✅ Valid Forklift Licence
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently & use initiative
