Summary
The Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health is a large transgender health service based in Nottingham but is part of a wider Network that includes the East of England Service and the Sussex gender service. The Network provides high quality assessment, referralsfor treatments, case management and GP support. Patients will receive a blended model of face to face and video consultation appointments with the clinics running 5 days a week, it is a busy working environment which requires high levels ofconfidentiality and person skills. As one of the team you will undertake the provision and planning of assessment, care, and treatmentfor transgender patients, whilst having direct face to face and video work with patients and undertakeindependent Non-Medical Prescribing. You will be fully supported by experienced transgender healthprofessionals who will work with you to provide a seamless gender service and pathway. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
