Summary

We’re looking for a dedicated Housing Support Officer to join our team, providing person-centred support to residents living in CBC-managed properties. You’ll play a vital role in helping individuals sustain their tenancies, maintain their wellbeing, and feel connected to their community.

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll:
• Build trusted relationships through regular wellbeing checks and support planning.
• Coordinate referrals to internal teams and external agencies, ensuring residents receive the right help at the right time.
• Manage the day-to-day running of Independent Living Schemes, ensuring compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and organisational standards.
• Support residents with practical tasks such as accessing housing applications, attending viewings, reporting repairs, etc.
• Promote social inclusion through coffee mornings, community events, partnership working, etc.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring all resident interactions, support needs, and scheme updates are logged appropriately.

You’ll need to be empathetic, organised, and confident working independently and as part of a team. If you’re committed to making a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
