Summary
We are looking for Senior Nightshift Radiographers to join our out of hours radiographic workforce at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust, based at Watford General Hospital.
The role will be a prominent senior Radiographer position within the department, taking ownership of acute imaging out of hours, working as part of a team alongside the shift system Radiographers.
The positions are full time; however part-time applications are welcomed.
The duties and responsibilities of the post holder include:
• Being an effective member the Radiology out of hours acute imaging team.
• Providing leadership to Radiographic staff.
• Supporting Radiology services across all WHTH sites.
• Mentoring junior staff and students.
• Setting SMART objectives to support with training and competencies.
• Completing and record keeping of QA testing.
• Following IRMER17 regulations whilst undertaking radiology examinations to a high standard.
• Participation on the additional shifts’ rota (Saturdays) is also available.
Candidates must be strong communicators who share our trust values.
