Summary
Level 5 Early Years Senior Practitioner Apprenticeship - Manager for Blossom Patch Nursery
Shoots Training are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual as an apprentice to complete their Level 5 Childcare qualification with Blossom Patch as a Manager for their Wembley setting.

Our experienced team nurtures each child with patience, attention, and encouragement—celebrating every milestone along the way.
We have 4 rooms for babies, rising 2, toddler and pre-school
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5
- Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning and support individual needs
- Ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children
- Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures in accordance with statutory guidance
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR and data protection policies
- upport children with additional needs, ensuring inclusive access to learning opportunities
- Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to implement tailored support strategies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families and carers
- Communicate regularly regarding children’s development, achievements, and well-being
- Encourage parental involvement in the learning process and setting activities
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and professional environment
- Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices
- Engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice
- Maintain accurate records, including observations, assessments, and safeguarding documentation
- Support the day-to-day organisation of the setting, including routines, transitions, and events
- Uphold all policies, procedures, and standards set by the organisation and regulatory bodies
Requirements;
- Level 3 Early Years is required and some experience within the childcare sector
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS,
- Having GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
- Must be able to drive or live locally
Hours;
- The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
- Blossom Patch is open from 07:00-19:00
