Summary
Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship - Cherry Tree Day Nursery
Shoots Training are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Cherry Tree Day Nursery.
Cherry Tree Day Nursery have a garden area and 5 rooms that are free flow. You will be caring for children from birth and 5 years.
Your duties as an apprentice will include:
- Setting up the rooms in morning, planning and preparing the day’s activities, and assisting in creating a stimulating environment.
- Will be tidying away at the end of every day, and overseeing general housekeeping duties.
- Undertaking all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing, toileting and assist with feeding.
- Attending monthly staff meetings and undertaking ongoing training.
- You will learn the role of a practitioner with guidance. Once ready, will be allocated a small key group of children.
- You will ensure nursery and safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times, and that children are well cared for, nurtured and kept safe.
- We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to join our team, you will need to show a willingness to learn and be able to work alongside our SENCO and other colleagues.
Hours;
- Cherry Tree Day Nursery is open from 7:30am until 18:00pm, Monday to Friday
- The successful candidate will be required to work between 37.5 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
Requirements;
- You ideally will have GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent
- To be able to obtain a clear DBS
