Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Welder/ Fabricator to work in Ruthin.
You will be working as a welder/fabricator for a company specialising in bespoke building units.
This role will be varied, non-repetitive work for those who take pride in fabricating strong, practical, well-finished structures.
Your role will be to:
Weld and fabricate container conversions, including frames, reinforcements, and fit-outs
Work with sheet and box section steel, cutting, fitting, grinding, and finishing
Prepare and weld painted or previously used steel surfaces to safe and durable standards
Interpret basic drawings or supervisor instructions to complete projects accurately
Ensure structural integrity across a wide variety of bespoke build
Suitable backgrounds include:
Agricultural fabrication – trailers, tractor kit, gates, livestock equipment
Truck body building, skips, hook-lift bins, or heavy vehicle repair
Structural steelwork – frames, staircases, supports, mezzanines
Plant / machinery maintenance and repair – patching, strengthening, welding painted or worn steel
You will have:
Strong MIG welding ability (TIG/MMA an advantage)
Proven ability in framing, strengthening, and reinforcement work
Practical fabrication experience beyond repetitive line welding
A safe, methodical approach with pride in high-quality finishes
