We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our nursery in South West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, proven leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and education.
Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team of nursery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, staff training, performance appraisals, and professional development opportunities.
Ensure the nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
Plan and monitor the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child and track their progress.
Manage daily operations, including attendance, health and safety, safeguarding compliance, and resource management.
Oversee nursery budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and managing costs efficiently.
Maintain strong communication with parents, providing updates on children’s development and addressing concerns.
Requirements:
Proven nursery management experience with leadership of a team.
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and EYFS framework.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
Ability to implement initiatives that improve nursery operations and educational quality.
Relevant childcare or early years qualification (Level 3 or above).
