Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent position of Housekeeper on the Acute Medical Unit.
AMU is a busy unit with 46 beds across the footprint of 2 wards currently.
Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
Main duties to include:
• Cleaning within the department
• Ensuring treatment rooms and stores are clean and well stocked
• Ordering supplies
• Stock rotation
• Steam Cleaning
• Audits
• Administration duties including photocopying
• Liaising with estates department regarding maintenance issues and ward improvements
• Support the team to maintain excellent standards of safety and cleanliness on the ward
