Summary
Veterinary Surgeon – Chatham
• Progressive, well equipped, small animal practice, providing a high standard of care
• Working alongside a skilled team of 8 Vets, including those with interests in orthopaedics, ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and acupuncture.
• Salary: Circa £50,000 (depending on experience) plus amazing benefits including career progression opportunities.
• Flexible working options: 4 or 5 day week with Saturdays on a rota and time off in lieu – No OOH.

The practice is seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinary surgeon to join their growing team. The role offers a mix of consultations and surgery, with flexibility to suit preferences and a strong focus on work-life balance. The practice handles a variety of cases, including exotics, with the option for internal follow-ups or external referrals when necessary.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a caring approach, and the ability to manage cases to a high standard.
The practice operates as a group of four small animal practices in the Medway Towns,
They are well equipped with separate dog and cat wards, prep rooms, and sterile surgical theatres, X-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, in house lab and Digital dental Xray.
The fabulous team of vets have a vast array of special interests from orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery to ophthalmology, dermatology, and complementary therapies.
The team enjoys a friendly, supportive atmosphere with a flexible approach to working hours and career development. The practice also works with local charity initiatives and aims to achieve high standards of care across all sites.
Hours: Full time, 40hours over an optional 4 or 5 day week. 1:3 Saturdays with time off in lieu, no OOH. Part time also considered.
