Bodyshop Paint Prepper Join a Family-Run Bodyshop Team Dedicated to Quality! Are you passionate about cars and eager to excel in automotive repairs?
Our client, a Family-Run Bodyshop Group in Epsom, Surrey, is seeking a motivated Bodyshop Paint Prepper to join a supportive and friendly workshop environment. This position offers on-the-job training, the chance to master vehicle preparation, and opportunities to grow within the auto industry!

What You’ll Do as a Bodyshop Prepper:
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Assist with minor repairs to ensure high-quality finishes
- Support the team in maintaining top standards of quality and efficiency
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on vehicle presentation excellence
Required Skills of the Bodyshop Prepper:
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Keen attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Physical stamina for standing during shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in automotive prep, valeting, or similar job positions
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance or bodywork
- Familiarity with vehicle painting processes is a plus
Preferred Education & Experience:
- No formal qualifications required; full training provided
- Ideal for enthusiastic, reliable Bodyshop Preppers ready to develop a skilled trade
Other Requirements:
- Valid driving licence preferred
- Willingness to grow and skill up in the automotive repair industry - our client wants ambitious employees!
- 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
- Optional Saturday work at standard rate (£16ph) + £25 attendance bonus
