Summary
We are looking for Care Support Workers to join our team. Offering full and part time positions
Description:
We are looking for an experienced carer to join our team. You will be required to
work within a 25 mile radius of our office, based in West Chiltington.
You must have your own transport and be a self motivated, caring individual with a
good knowledge of the local area.
Duties:
Provide care and support to people in their own homes, respecting their
privacy and dignity. Maintain their independence and enhance their quality of
life.

Assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the elderly and people
with disabilities.
●
Assist with medication and ensure all information is recorded and records are
maintained in accordance with West Sussex County Council framework.
●
Assist with meal preparation, shopping and light domestic housework.
●
Provide companionship for people with dementia. People with dementia may
become confused and it is important to respect and assist with their emotional
and physical wellbeing.
Requirements:
●
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
●
Use your own initiative and work independently as well as within a team.
●
Be compassionate and understanding of other’s needs.
●
Own transport is essential and a valid driving Licence
●
A minimum of 2 years experience within the health & social care sector
