Job Purpose: I am a senior lady looking for a Personal Assistant to provide me with encouragement and motivation for daily activities and support me with going out and about in the community.Location: Hilgay, PE38Details:I am looking for a Personal Assistant who would provide me an encouragement to complete day-to-day domestic activities, such as cooking for example. You would also support me with leisure activities (I used to like crafts) and need support to become enthusiastic about doing things.I am very anxious and reluctant to go out into the community and need someone who would provide me with companionship and support me with redeveloping my confidence and enthusiasm so I can enjoy my life again.You would also help me to become motivated to take interest in self-care and regaining physical fitness.Person specificationEssential:Compassionate, patient and caring personality.Good motivation skills and ability to encourage others, enthusiastic.Supportive and able to ease anxiety, good listening skills.Able to build trust.Flexible.Desirable:Experience with supporting someone with low self-confidence, depression and anxiety.Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour.· Hours and times of work: 15 hours per week, Monday-Friday. 3 hours each day to start between 10:00 and 10:30. However, there may be some flexibility. This would be advised ahead of time.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Anxiety and Food Hygiene. Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
